What is Data Cabling?

Data cabling is a hard-wired method of connecting active devices within an IT network. It allows you as the user to connect your computer, telephone, printers, CCTV, access control and anything else IP based.


There are different categories for data cabling which is dependant on the bandwidth they can supply - Category 5, Category 6, Category 6A and Category 7.


What type of Data Cabling do I need?


As mentioned above, there are different types and it all depends on how you want your network to perform.
